The vision of Grove Park began in 1987 as Ida Belle Young and George Goodwyn stood in a beautiful green meadow and she said “we should do something really special with this land, something that everybody wants but nobody provides.” Years later, the Engineer/Landscape Architect team of George and Charlotte Goodwyn teamed up with the renowned real estate developer, Alfa Properties, and the dream became a drawing and at last, in 2000, a reality. Today, the dream of a “neighborhood of friends” free to enjoy this moment any way they choose is to the many members of the Grove Park family simply HOME.
